Day 20: Taking Part in Environmental Awareness Event
I’m taking part in the Human Countdown: Climate Wake-Up Call organized by Oxfam America
The purpose of the event is to form a massive human sculpture in New York’s Central Park to urge world leaders to achieve a fair, ambitious, and binding global climate treaty.
Through taking part in such an event, I’m contributing to awareness of the green movement and showing world leaders that this is a concern for society. It’s grass roots efforts like this that make a real impact.
