Day 236: Used People Towel Reusable Hand Towels
To finish off the picnic, reusable napkins were used. We used People Towels 100% organic cotton hand towels.
This helped to make it a low impact picnic. We also sat on an old blanket, brought a meal that was made from the farmers market and used our own utensils. This was all packed up in a resuable bag.
According to People Towels, “To make one ton of paper towels, 17 trees and 20,000 gallons of water are polluted.”
