Day 243: Set Cruise Control On The Highway
When driving on the highway, I set the cruise control.
Now that I’m living in Los Angeles, I don’t have the luxury of being able to walk or take public transportation everywhere like I did in NYC. I’m still in the market for a bike.
Since I’m driving, I’m attempting to do it in the most eco-friendly manner.
According to The Daily Green, “Whenever you hit the accelerator, you burn a lot of gas. Braking wears out the pads, and forces you to use more gas to speed back up. Your vehicle’s systems perform most efficiently at a constant rate.”
