Day 258: Used Toilet Paper Roll To Make Seed Starter Pot

To fill put your soil inside, followed by your seed and cover with more soil.
I made a seed starter pot using a toilet paper roll.

Since I’m into urban gardening, this is a great and cheap way to get seeds started.

There are several other uses for toilet paper rolls as well.

The EPA says that each year the US uses about 85 million tons of paper and paperboard.

  • do you put the entire thing in your container or do you take the TP roll off? i would assume that would be ok to plant as is since you can compost TP rolls
  • cool... btw hows the w coast treating you?? i am starting to get more involved in the garden on 11th bet 1st + a (next to the skate park)... seems like they're doing som super innovative urban gardening practices too
  • Goin well so far bro. Def have lots more space and better weather here. I've heard lots of stuff about that garden and what they're doing over there. Keep me updated on how it goes.
