Day 270: Made Eco-Friendly Glass Cleaner With Orange Peels

Day 270: Made Eco-Friendly Glass Cleaner With Orange Peels
Before I tossed them into the compost, I gave the orange peels one last life by boiling them up in water and using it to wipe down some mirrors.

The peels were also hung in the bathroom to neutralize odors and dehydrated as an air freshener.

This is a more friendly smelling glass cleaner than plain vinegar.

According to the Household Products Database from the US Department of Health and Human Services, a glass cleaner such as Glass Plus is harmful if ingested. May cause drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, vomiting and abdominal pain.

What was your simple green act for the day?
