Day 275: Used Glass Straw
I used a glass straw todrink out of my mason jar.
According to CreativeCitizen, “From the onset of production, they are extruded, individually wrapped and shipped
until they are placed in your drink and then tossed in the garbage 20 minutes later.
- Eliminating straws saves on:
- Energy in the production process.
- Carbon emissions during its transportation.
- Waste in the disposal process.
- Toxic Leaching from polypropylene plastic.
