Day 319: Reused Plastic Bucket for Food Scraps
I got a plastic bucket from the deli section of a local grocery store and am using it to store my food scraps before I toss them in my compost.

According to Earth911.com, “It is estimated that the production of plastics accounts for 4 percent of the energy consumption in the U.S.” Get more facts about plastic bottles.

According to the NYC Compost Project, “The average New York City household discards two pounds of organic waste each day—adding up to more than one million tons of organic material a year. When we discard this “waste,” we lose a potential resource that can help beautify.”

Brushing this spot with some white vinegar [with or w.o backing soda] would brought the magical sparkle to this corner. However..., if I got it right, you moved out from that space to LA...
