Day 332: Gave Eco-Friendly Deodorant to Friend

Day 332: Gave Eco-Friendly Deodorant to Friend

My girlfriend was running low on her chemical laden antiperspirant. I gave her an eco-friendly deodorant and encouraged her to use it.

Hopefully one day, she’ll ditch it all together and go deodorant free like I have.

Check the Household Products Database from the US Department of Health and Human Services for products to see the possible health effects.

Except then you smell bad. Im not against using natural eco-friendly deodorant, but you should give some thought to going completely deodorant free. I had sitting next to someone on the T or bus who reeks of BO. Just my 2 cents. That eco friendly deodorant looks nifty though

Thanks for the input Chip, but I thinks BO comes from many things not just your deodorant. Personally, I haven't used deodorant in over 4 months now.

sweet, have not used the stuff for years, you can do it.
  • HAHAHAH - I added another comment just so I could log in to Disqus and have my picture and linkage show up. I am a shameless self-promoter. hahahaha

    For shame. Hahaha.

@Mike and Anita - Rock on! I am so stoked for you Anita. My wife did the same thing about two weeks ago.

I agree with Joyce. It took my body a few weeks to stop, um, stinking, but I am all right now and my wife said I sweat a lot, yes, but really don't smell. I use a Tom's product too when I "go out" - a little lavender goodness, I think - and it works great.

Be sure she knows to stick with it if it doesn't work at first. My body took weeks to adjust, but it does eventually work! And if thats Toms Crystal Confidence shes using, then right on! Thats what I use. ;)

    It's actually Naturally Fresh Deodorant.
