Day 249: Growing My Own Sprouts

Day 249: Growing My Own Sprouts

I am growing my own sprouts on my kitchen table – lentils and broccoli. Sprouts are pretty simple to grow as well.

I’m very into growing, planting and harvesting my own food. I’m even into making my own kombucha.

Here are two of the main advantages of growing your own food – you know what went into making it (eliminating the use of harmful chemicals) and the transportation and packaging resources are eliminated.

What was your simple green act for the day?
